Solution Specialist - Penetration Strategy (d/f/m)

The Role
The Solution Specialist (or Customer Solution Value Specialist), enables our Account Management team to maximize their upsell and churn prevention success by providing dedicated knowledge support within a certain product domain. 
By acting as a sparring partner for the Account Managers, you will have an immense impact on the attachment rate of certain products within the customer base and will be able to improve the net retention MRR achievement within the team.

Your responsibilities include:

  • (Product Knowledge:) You establish expertise within a certain product domain and become the go-to-person for AMs within your domain. You stay up-to-date on product developments and provide regular updates to the Customer Growth team. 
  • (Customer Enablement:) You understand key issues customers are facing within your product domain as well as market trends and support AMs during upsell and churn prevention processes with your expertise. You act as a sparring partner for AMs to successfully foster growth and retain customers. 
  • (Opportunities and Risks:) You are responsible for driving the attachment rate of certain products, thereby helping the team to achieve the business plan targets. You regularly seize upsell potential through data analysis and market (customer) research, and analyze historical churns to help the team prioritize.
  • (Customer Feedback:) You synthesize requests from customers on a regular cadence to give structured input to product, legal and partnerships on what is needed to continue to be competitive and relevant in the marketplace.
  • (Interfaces:) You are the interface from AM to Product, Sales enablement/marketing and Training, making sure that the team is provided with all information and assets and sharing our needs and requirements with respective stakeholders.
What you need to succeed
  • You have the ability to establish comprehensive technical product knowledge in a short amount of time
  • You are commercially driven and have experience working with business plan targets
  • You are customer-centric and have experience within the area of expansion and risk management 
  • You are highly organized and have great time management skills to prioritize initiatives based on what will generate the greatest return
  • You have a strategic mindset with a hands-on mentality and work strongly solution oriented
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus)
