Head of Implementation (m/f/d)

Meet the team - In total, we are an Implementation team of 46 (6 Team Leads and 40 Implementation Managers), split into four DACH teams based in Munich, one Iberia team based in Madrid, and one International team based in Dublin but a second one is already in the planning. The responsibilities of the teams are divided per market.
The product implementation is one of the most crucial phases in our customer journey: Our Implementation Managers empower new customers to get started by guiding them through the setup and helping incorporate Personio into the user’s routine as easily as possible. During the 4- to 8-week onboarding phase, our Implementation Managers support our customers via telephone, email, and screen sharing to empower them to use and understand Personio. After a final check by our Quality Assurance team, the implementation is completed and our customers are handed over to our Customer Service colleagues.
As Head of Implementation, you lay the foundation for the long-term success of our customers by ensuring the best possible implementation & experience. You build teams and processes that allow Personio to consistently deliver to high implementation standards while being highly scalable and cost-efficient. Your efforts drive product adoption which directly translates into customer lifetime value and Personio promoters.
You develop your leadership team through continuous feedback, performance evaluations and coaching to drive team satisfaction and performance
You spark and spearhead initiatives to ensure a cost-efficient scaling of the organization behind our implementation efforts (questioning the status quo)
You foster cross-functional alignment with other teams and resolve blockers for your team
You develop and rolling out initiatives to win reference & referral customers and drive up product adoption
You regularly plan the budget and hiring needs for your team and are responsible for the execution and adherence of those plans
You represent Personio towards our customers and resolve customer escalations whenever necessary
What you need to succeed
Proven track record as a leader leading leaders (e.g. capability to steer teams by objectives, coaching, ability to rally team behind shared goal)
Experience in leading teams that provide exceptional customer experience during onboarding
Clear and structured communication (e.g. bringing complex topics to the point)
Paramount standards towards operational excellence in own work and passing this on to own teams
Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to move mountains to make our customers successful
Data-drivenness, analytical thinking and the urge to break problems down their root-causes
Strategic mindset and anticipation of changes so that we won’t run into bottle necks
