DACH Go-to-market Partnerships Manager (m/f/d)

The Role
The DACH GTM partnerships manager is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of our GTM partnerships team. This is a revenue-generating position and will focus on indirect sales motions to support our growth in the region, by unlocking a new market opportunity for us through co-selling and driving partner engagement.  The main objective is to establish a GTM partnerships organization within the GTM team. This will start with prioritizing inbound opportunities and focusing on ones that will have maximum impact. Building on this inbound motion, the DACH GTM partnerships manager will also look to create a pipeline of partnerships that are most beneficial to Personio as a company, both across the full European landscape as well as specific to each of the markets we operate in. More specifically the responsibilities include:

  • Drive lead generation through partnerships model
  • Represent Personio as the leading HR platform towards lead-gen-partners
  • Evaluate the performance of partnership activities and iterate measures
  • Create an operating model for lead generation through partnerships based on external best practices as well as designing for what works for our business in the immediate and longer-term
  • Fostering of cross-functional alignment within Sales, Marketing, Product, Customers Operations & Success, and Customer Growth
  • Negotiate key commercial agreements and drive joint sales success
  • Bi-annual goal setting using OKRs
  • Develop partner presentations and provide product training to partners
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with partners
  • Plan and manage marketing activities within budgetary guidelines and deadlines
  • Support and execute (co-hosted) partner events and activities and manage partner marketing communications with support from Personio marketing
  • Provide market feedback to product management in order to create even more value for partners and the business
What you need to succeed
  • Strategic mindset and anticipation of changes so that we won’t run into bottlenecks
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to think from first principles and to develop business and strategic cases for ‘first-of-their-kind’ partnership opportunities 
  • Commercial acumen and ability to make trade-offs on time and investments to leverage projects and partnerships for maximum impact to Personio
  • Clear and structured communication, especially on complex topics
  • Ability to create win-win situations for partners and Personio
  • Previous experience in a partnerships role, a comparable role, or consulting experience - within hyper-growth technology-driven businesses.
